Is parasailing safe?

Safety is the priority. Our USCG-certified captains and experienced crew follow strict safety protocols, and all equipment is regularly inspected and maintained. We've safely flown thousands of guests.

Can we fly together?

Yes. We offer tandem (2 people) and triple (3 people) flights, so you can share the ride with a partner, friend or family member.

Can kids fly?

Yes. Ages 5 and over are welcome, and the crew handles every harness fitting on the deck.

What are the weight requirements?

Solo flyers should weigh at least 130 lb. For tandem flights the combined weight should be between 125 and 560 lb. Our team will help determine the best configuration for your party.

Will we get wet?

Not unless you want to. We specialize in dry takeoffs and landings, launching and returning right on the boat deck. If you'd like an optional dip during your flight, just let the crew know.

What if the weather changes?

If conditions aren't suitable for a safe flight, we'll reschedule your adventure at no extra charge or provide a full refund. We monitor conditions closely throughout the day.

Season

Our parasail season runs May 16 through December 14. The boats come off the water each winter while the humpback whales are in the channel — that's when our sister operation Maui Whale Adventures takes over.

Winter season · West Maui

When parasailing stops on December 14, this starts. Thousands of humpbacks winter in the channel off this coast to calve and sing, and our winter boat goes out to meet them.
