Parasailers can be as young as 5, or well into their golden years! Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver. The minimum combined weight is 130 lbs and the maximum combined weight varies from approximately 450-550 lbs. Our Captains institute daily weight restrictions based upon weather conditions.
-
Yes, and boy is it ever fun! Most often up to 3 people can be in flight at the same, depending upon weather conditions and weight restrictions instituted by our Captains.
-
It’s not a requirement that a guest know how to swim. All parasailers are required to wear an approved life vest.
-
That’s up to you! Take-off and landing occur directly from the boat. You can opt to stay dry, which allows for some lunch or shopping afterwards. Or, if you’re up for getting wet let our Captain know and you’ll be treated to what we call a “dip!”
-
If you would like to get wet wear a bathing suit. Otherwise, shorts, a tee shirt and some flip flops work.
-
You bet! If you’d like a private charter, book the “Private Parasail Excursion.” This option works whether you’re simply a single couple desiring privacy or a larger group of up to 12 guests.
-
We LOVE special occasions! If you have something in mind, our staff can work with you beforehand to make sure your experience is memorable. Whether it’s a surprise marriage proposal, getting wed at sea, or some
type of themed event, the sky is indeed the limit at Ka`anapali Beach Parasail! Let’s talk!
-
Absolutely. Each of our Captains are U.S. Coast Guard licensed Masters. Both the Captain and crew are trained in all aspects of parasailing, boat handling and flight procedures. Our employees are strictly supervised and they are required to enroll in a random drug testing program.
We are also members of the Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA) and adhere to the organization’s safety standards. Our boat is inspected at both the beginning and the end of each day and we go through an annual boat inspection with the U.S. Coast Guard.
-
We recommend at least 21 days in advance, depending upon the season. Parasailing is becoming increasingly popular. We frequently sell out weeks in advance.
-
Because parasailing can be weather-dependent, it’s best to plan this activity during the earlier portion of your vacation. If planned for the last day or two, the risk of Mother Nature not cooperating enters the picture!
-
We do take observer bookings, providing there is space on the boat just prior to departure. The cost for an observer seat is $75. If you decide you can’t resist taking a flight once we’re out there, the $75 fee is applied toward the cost of a parasail.
-
We can’t fly in the rain. Nor can we fly when wind speeds are excessive. Either of these will result in a shutdown instituted by the Captain. Should conditions clear up, we may resume operations at the Captain’s discretion.

Customers will receive a refund, less an on-line booking fee and 10% cancellation fee, with 72 hours notice of cancellation. In case of operator cancellation due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, customers have the option to either re-book or receive a full refund. No refunds for No-Shows.
